FS 53cm Kona Sutra Touring Bike ***SOLD***

Page may contain affiliate links. Please see terms for details.
A beautiful 53 cms Kona Sutra in dark metallic green which I bought new in 2012.
It's in very good condition having always been protected with helicopter tape.
Not been used for two years so could probably do with a bit of fettling and adjustment and the bar tape needs redoing, but in excellent cared for condition.
Bike is pretty much standard apart from the pedals, tyres and saddle.
Front and rear racks and ready to go.
I'm 5'10" and the bike has fit me well.

Asking £375 for this excellent steel tourer, collection only please from Halesowen near Birmingham, postcode B63 3EH 20170724_135033-1.jpg 20170724_135144.jpg 20170724_135158-1.jpg 20170724_135133-1.jpg 20170724_135044-1.jpg 20170724_135124.jpg 20170724_135114.jpg 20170724_135101.jpg 20170724_135053.jpg

Sadly, the bike is for sale only as I already have far too many bikes (yes, I know that saying that is sacrilege) but I need to cut numbers right down to the one that I use most regularly.
Good luck with your trade.

I am in the same position as you, but I've managed to sell five, but I've bought another two:wacko:

It doesn't get any easier.

I had a real clear out too!!
9 bikes went and 2 arrived.
Still trying to thin out all the spare parts though.

Good luck with your sale
I keep looking at this longingly. And my dad lives in South Birmingham. But I can't justify it.

Is it normal to cable bar-end shifters like that?
Gooo on, you know you deserve it!

As far as the shifters go, that's how they came from new and they've worked very well.

Hello,

Very interested as it looks a lovely bike: does it have 32mm tyres and is there room for 35mm under the mudguards.

Doesn't look like there is to me from the photograph, hence the question.

What are the teeth on the triple chainset.

Finally, and sorry for so many questions, what make are the disc brakes ? Avid BB5?

Regards.

Hello,

The tyres are currently 700 x32 and I can't see that 35's would be a problem, the support at the brake bridge being on its lowest setting and the guards being adjustable at the stays too.

The triple is 50-39-24

Brakes are Avid BB7, not 5

Thanks for your interest,

Regards, Don.
