I'm not sure why this hasn't gone yet. Correct interpretations of my clue seem to be out there

It's right about here, a mile or so north and west of Tia'r Bull.

Correct! A superb network of roads and paths crossing Illtyd Common (or Illtud) which are very easily overlooked in favour of more spectacular attractions in the area.

I'd been looking around totaly the wrong St Illtyd. I was loking at one much closer to the Llangynidr previous suggestion

I actually looked there, quite early on, and still didn't find it. I'm rubbish at this game.

Initially i thought it could be a distant Glastonbury tor... or maybe Pendle hill, but no. The National Trust land will be a handy clue... when we work out where in the UK it might be. Absolute wild guess but it could be an evening shot with the camera pointing south-ish?
