I'm racking my brain I'm sure I've ridden that road and I presuming it was when I spent a week in Earl Sterndale . So far I searched the climb up to Earl Sterndale from Crowdecote but the rocks remind me more of the Staffordshire side of the Peaks Ilam moor ?

I have cycled not too far from Earl Sterndale but only once and that was 10 years ago. Isn't it all limestone in that part of the world?

Despite me instantly recognising the area and was positive I had ridden the road when I had a week in Earl Sterndale ,I never reached that exact area and haven't ridden the road
