Garage problem

Previous owner built patio 3 course above garage damp course. Dutch drain/wash away inbetween garage and patio but with this terrential rain were having there is a couple of puddles in garage and can see were breeze blocks are soaking in water and getting damp. P- off at this and has anyone had similar, no any ideas to help. I know it's a serious amount of rain at moment.
Going to dig out Dutch drain and refill with decorative stone to help drain water but other than that I'm lost.

What a bloody good idea. I could clear out debris from current Dutch drain, fill with stone and put that on top
