I'm slightly concerned about some leaves/fronds looking a bit brown and 'chewed' on the ends. What might have caused this? I doubt it was frost as we've had a relatively ice and frost free winter. Could it be insects I wonder, or are those leaves just dying off?šŸ¤”

What are those little tan coloured things between the trowel and flask, on top of the soil? Are they slow feeding plant food, or slug repellents maybe?šŸ¤”

Looks like slow release fertiliser and those leaves are probably just old.

I'd get a small bag of grit and lay it on top of the compost, it will help hold the water in .

Next doors climber is creeping along my fence but I don’t want to cut it. Do you think he’ll mind us enjoying his flowers?

Got my veg garden up and running.

Using shopping crates kindly donated by my ex.

I'm growing runner beans, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, lettuce.

Have a larger square planter I'm pondering what to plant? Courgettes?

I only have small almost maintenance free garden, my nod to edible is a few herb pots and and bunch of strawberries plants, who vie with my climbing rose and clematis in the only proper bed.

They did super well last year so I grew a few of the runners off them, gave a mix of the new plants and old to daughter 1 and back filled the old in my bed with the new plants.

Have a lot of small green fruit at the moment so looking promising and daughters are doing well in a couple of pots at hers.

the "earliest" of the clematis plants came out in flower last week
