I see Aldi have one of these for sale at £49.99. What exactly does it do?

Do you mean the 200?

About the same as a cycling computer and you can follow a basic breadcrumb trail of a prebuilt and uploaded route

Where you've been? You can use strava for that on your phone

I have data disabled on my phone as it eats the battery. Calls and texts only.

It's quite a handy bike computer. Boots up fast, records the ride, and upload to Garmin/strava.

Old tech the 1000 doesn't need a pc or phone, Wifi

20/25 don't have alt meter, so won't do ft climbed whilst on the bike. I suppose once loaded to the app it may give you that info post ride?

I use breadcrumb on 200 and it's pretty easy, just have to pay attention at roundabouts and 5 point cross roads.
