Garmin 800 - Can't add the same model twice error

Trying to add a new training route to my Garmin Edge 800 with theGarmin Connect software. When I try and upload the information to my device I get the error "Can't add the same model to a collection twice".

So far I've deleted all previous courses from my Garmin (in both device and stroage card), destroyed my new course and recreated it and removed all activities. No difference.

Has anyone got any suggestions?

Got around it - rebooted my PC as I'd read it was an issue with the driver. Problem fixed. Not very elegant though!
 
You've just learnt enough to gain a degree in computer science!

Reboot it!!

That's all I.T support seem to say nowadays when presented with a problem ... woe be tide anyone
who says "why" did it do this.

I have one already - it's what I do ^_^
Seriously...I don't work on a Help Desk but agree with you entirely. There's no motivation to learn why things work the way they do anymore...hence no one can tell you why things go wrong. It's just a case of "In {Microsoft/Apple/Google etc...} we trust".
