I guess we all wonder what water resistant really means with some gadgets, and I doubt if anybody has encountered any real issues with water resistance of cycling computers, but all the same, a recent experience with the Edge 25 was a surprise.
My son left this tiny gadget in his jersey, which went straight into the washing machine when we got home!
After coming out of the machine, apart from being very clean, it still appeared to be working fine.
Taking it on a ride a couple of days later, some condensation appeared inside the display, perhaps understandably, however this seems to have gone now, and still working perfectly!
So whilst I'd recommend a damp cloth, rather than Persil non-bio, all credit to Garmin! That is one resilient little gadget!
