As long as I breathe, I attack.
Got a century ride planned next weekend and i use an edge 520 plus for navigation , the question is if i switch off the device at the cake stop will it continue with the course when i switch it back on ? Or would it be easier to break the course up into sections ?
Im thinking of battery lasting the ride as we have 2 stops planned .

Turn off, it should still be on course, if not it's just a matter of loading it again and selecting navigate to finish (nav to start would be bad!)

I think mine is the 820 but assume similar function. I would stop the timer when you reach the cake stop, and then single press the power key to put it in sleep mode. Will save doing a full power off and you can then just wake it up and resume when ready.
