I think some of the blackberrys are catching up and are using the android operating system now.
If you have "market" on your blackberry, you should be able to download garmin fit.

I wonder when iphones will start using the android operating system?

I think you are out of luck. if you look here https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=104231&ra=true it's iPhone and Android. No blackberry.

Those blackberrys remind me of my lovely old nokia i had three years ago, all show but very slow......

I've downloaded the garmin fit - but how long does your phone battery last on your android.

i've got the samsung galaxy S - and it doesnt seem to last that long in gps mode.

Battery life depends on what other apps are using internet data in the background ... and how far you are away from the cell tower.
My galaxy s2 is waaay more efficient on battery power than my old htc desire.

I know if i run torquepro on my s2 (which uses a bluetooth link to the diagnostic socket on my car) the phone gets warm
and REALLY gobbles power, so i think the galaxys are bad when bluetooth is in use, especially when there's a lot of data
being sent from the car engine.
