Created a route on Garmin connect but was unable to send it to my 820 as servers not contactable

Tried to ask about it on Garmin forums and they seem to be screwed too

I have my Garmin 810 with me in Italy and have not looked at it yet. With ride with GPS, Strava and Google Maps. I dont need the 810 You would think by now that Garmin would get their act together. It is so much more complicated to operate than everything else..
