Just bought an edge 200 and i am doing a 100km ride sunday, i got sent a route for it and i managed to upload it to the edge but i cannot get the map into garmin connect so i can play with the pacing.

any idea how to import maps into connect?

You have to do the ride first for it to upload to Connect.

Was it sent to you as a gpx file?
In theory you should be able to upload and follow it as a crumb trail on the 200

Yeah it was a Gpx file.
I have it uploaded it to the 200 and can follow the route I was just hoping to have a better look at it on connect.
Maps should be able to be loaded into garmin connect I shall make a suggestion to them.

You are pushing the limits of the 200. I've got a 705 and a 200 - you can't do too much with the 200. Its great as a basic GPS computer - use it every day for commuting.

I think the problem is the connect site rather than the 200.
The connect site is the same no matter what model you have.
The 200 does everything I need. I'd just like to be able to view a ride I was sent on the site. This should be quite easy to code really.

On Garmin connect, go to "Upload" at the top right, then select "Manual Upload" on the window that appears, you can use the "Browse" button to select the file, then this will upload your file.

However it will only show the actual route, unless you have recorded a ride, then there will be no speed, or other data
