Garmin Head Unit Power Reading Flat lining :-/

Discussion in 'Training, Fitness and Health' started by HLaB, 3 Mar 2018.

  1. For some bizarre reason, in the second sprint in my warm up, the edge 1000 power reading maxes out at circa 146w and flatlines (never changes despite an increase in effort) but it records OK when I look at it after in Connect (e.g. max sprint of 436w and reasonable power fluctuation in that interval). Its always the second warm up interval and goes back to normal (displaying ok) on the subsequent intervals, has anybody any ideas as to what is causing it ? :-/

Is your power meter a Stages crank arm?

Nope its a Be Pro S. Its transmitting the data ok looking back at the tracks but just the head unit flat lining; I suspect the garmin head unit is the problem. Thankfully it hasn't done that lately :-/
