Far better off with these at http://talkytoaster.co.uk/maps/ or http://www.openmapchest.org/

300km a week through London on a road bike.
Works every time for me. Have you checked your spam/junk?

Well, write it down boy ......
I have used it several times with no problems. The maps are very good, I often use them when walking as they show the footpaths as well. Not sure what your problem may be, unless you asked for a huge number of tiles.

I don't use the email link, i just download directly. It's slow but it works. Also choose, generic routable (new style) or it gets roundabouts wrong, plus a few other idiosyncrasies.

I have had the same problem for the past week when trying to download the routable bicycle map.
I just used the generic routable maps and they worked fine
