Still looking for that restoration project - winter hack, ive come across one for sale ...the brand is Gazelle and its an old steel frame job, information in the advert is sparse but does say that the frame and forks alone cost £450.

No mention of materials / components etc
Ad does say that it needs a bit of attention


Anyone have any experience of Gazelles????

Shame your not in York, Bike rescue were selling them for £250, second hand. I like watching people struggle up the small hills here in York on them. :biggrin:
 
The Champion Mondial AA 531C (some were in 753 also) is a nice frame and was much sought after in 80's. Good frame for Crits as the Bottom bracket was a bit higher than the norm. Some of the later ones were already spread to 130mm at the back so can be easily fitted with a 10 speed groupset. Alternatively they have forward facing rear drop outs and ideal for fixed.
