What a mean thing to say. Was that really necessary? He's teaching scientific principles in an entertaining way. I thouroughly enjoyed this video and most if not all of his others.

That's really interesting. I'll have a look at other stuff that he's done.

However, there's no something for nothing in there, any more than there is on any other bike.

He's built a technology demonstrator for a magnetic clutch, and it did work. He also demonstrated that it's really lossy. I was waiting for him to start measuring the temperature of the disk from those eddy currents.

Fun, but impractical.

I'm not taking issue with you disliking the video, do what you like, I'm just a bit baffled why you thought it necessary to suggest that him presenting an educational physics video might mean he's dull at parties. Very strange.

Is it the pace? Try watching it in 1.5 speed, I watch a lot of videos sped up especially on youtube as the creators often take 20 mins to make a 2 min point!

Not enough machinery or engineering equipment in my house/sheds. I love these well-equipped videos.
