A beautiful day, probably only the third lovely day this year. The pessimist in me says next week will be winter bike time again.

Fantastic, well done, if you got out on your bike, I had a wonderful day out, headed for the Cloud at Congleton, via the old NCU sign at North Rode. 65 sunny miles, I thought I'd do more, but I did have a lot of stops.

The classic old NCU sign at North Rode, Cheshire, with my old, but not quite as old, Reynold's 531c bike.
This must be general advice from the NCU, " To Cyclists, Ride With Caution".

As long as I breathe, I attack.
It's a beautiful sunny day, so no excuses, get out on your bike and enjoy yourself............... :okay:

My water bottle is filled, I'm ready to go.
Wifes at work , i have the kids , fecked my BB thread putting a new one in ;)
Big shout to Lloyds cycles in Swadlincote who rethreaded it and put a new BB in for under £40 whilst i took the family to the park.

Family day today, son and granddaughter round this morning, a visit to my elderly sister in law as well, this afternoon was spent at Hoar Park walking round the craft shops with my Good Lady, no chance for a cycle ride. Tomorrow I should be able to get a short ride in before treating my Good Lady to a meal to celebrate mothers day.

Feeling glad that I had to go out today instead of tomorrow because it's going to be much windier tomorrow. I had an absolutely glorious ride in the sunshine around High Legh and Dunham. I left home this morning wearing a long and short sleeved jersey and full gloves but arrived home in just a short sleeved jersey and short fingered gloves.
It was so still and the sky was so blue.
I felt so good when I got back plus I needed another .10 mile to get the metric half century so I decided to attack the local speed camera and got a QOM! I'm sure the previous holder will be back to reclaim it.
