I was in the world of cycling big time as a teenager. I had an Aire Valley trials bike, never have managed to find anything made by Aire Valley since, but it was beautiful - and at that age, not cheap. I used to terrorize central Oxford witht he bike, and Oxford is an awesome place to ride a trials bike.
One day I got followed home by some unsavory characters, next morning the bike is missing from my back garden.
I was so pissed, I didn't touch a bike again. But as I get older and my beer belly continues to grow, I feel it;s time to take cycling up again - so I'm moving further away from work and getting a bike (further away from work isn't just so I have some cycling distance 
- more because I need to be near a park, central London is choking me!)
