Ever since they mentioned the word "drought back in march it has'nt stopped raining.

Ever since they mentioned the word "drought back in march it has'nt stopped raining.

The recent pattern seems to be two dry summers then a hose pipe ban in spring followed by a very wet summer.
So hopefully next summer will be a dry one

The clocks dont go back until the end of October so we still have 4 months of relatively light evenings.

The worst day of the year is when the clocks go back and I have to commute home in the dark!!

I'm wearing the warm lumberjack shirt again today and my SAD light is on. I was woken up by heavy rain in the middle of the night and it has pretty much rained incessantly since then! Ho hum ...

Looks like a session on the gym bike is all the cycling I'll be doing today!

Cry people,cry................India is on the reciving end of some bad rain,good days coming to an end.............only related to cycling,you see.........and that bloody wind...........going uphill two days back and me speed reduced to about 5mph in 2 seconds,took five minutes to get up that short stretch

It does seem to have got a lot wetter since the '80s when I lived there for my 3 student years!
