Two years of the utmost care and obsessional charging but to be fair only 600 miles of riding.
Charged a few weeks ago and both battery and charger not working.
No idea what went wrong.
Charger starts to charge then cuts out after a few seconds.
Battery still powered bike but refused to take a charge. Two shops tried to help to no avail. Apparently battery stuck in ‘ drive’ mode so wont charge and charger just stopped working.
Told only option is new battery and charger😂😂
Bike will be sold as an immaculate bike with brand new battery and charger. Cannot afford to throw £500 plus at a bike with approx 600 miles on it.
Cheers Giant- never again.

Sorry to hear that. I steered clear of proprietary equipment on ebikes. I went open source software and standard batteries without linked built-in software.

If you know someone with a digital voltage mater, they could check the output from the charger. If its a few volts above the battery voltage, there is a good chance the charger is ok and the battery is the problem. I would check with a Giant shop. They will have a spare charger to check the battery

Done all that. Checked all pins etc and diagnostics via Bluetooth. Diagnostics say all ok????
Charger will not charge any other batteries. Battery will not charge with other working chargers.
Just a big £££ hit. Out of warranty after two years and Giant shops don't want to know.
Gone Fazua for a try.

Its a shame that chargers are not a standard size like mobile phones perhaps they just want you to spend .
