Gig Tickets-Help!!

Greetings.
Some help please from those of you that habitually book tickets for gigs.
Mrs v R has booked 2 tickets to see Tom Jones in Canterbury. She is going with an aged friend. She thought that she had ordered 2 seats- there is no way that either of them could stand for any length of time.
She has been sent standing tickets and the company, Viagogo , insist that this is what she ordered. We cannot prove this one way or another. The tickets that she had received show a face value of £35.00 but she paid Viagogo £65.00 a ticket, plus booking etc. Is that the norm?
The last "big gig" I went to was to see the Stones, in 1990, so I'm a bit out of touch!
The issue here is whether she had been charged "seat" prices for a "standing" ticket.
Any help and explanation welcome.
Thanks.

The price uplift is what viagogo do.
The seating /standing issue should be noted on the receipt. I guess it is at Kent cricket club which is small so not many seats but lots of standing.
You may be able to take a folding chair. Ask the organisers.

Thanks for that. Is it normal for "standing" folk to take seats?

No it isn't.
But some festivals allow chairs or picnic rugs.
I guess a Tom Jones audience is going to be of a certain age so small folding chairs may be allowed. It is worth asking.
