Do they just happen to have a winch handy for situations like this? Lucky there was plenty of vegetation there to stop his fall really (although the trees themselves can do some damage).
So is tomorrow a day when the GC contendors take a breath and watch the break build and move away, or is it another day on the attack ready for another big mountains day on Thursday?
Get the feeling Carapaz senses blood in the water and will attack....
Isn 't that Nibali that you are thinking of?
Just to say, IMO Matt Stephens has been doing pretty well in commentary & analysis.
Thanks VERY much for this MD, I watched from 110k on the turbo, through until about 32k, and just finished watching the rest post shower. It's last 50 K short version or 110km long version
That's odd - I composed the above message yesterday, but it seems I didn't post it, and now it has posted without me clicking anything, or perhaps it has repeated it.
Aneeeway.
I've seen the unfortunate news of Tarling and Roglic both abandoning the race due to crashes - aside from that I know diddly squat.
Have a 90 minute turbo session tomorrow, so will try and watch some of it with that - any suggestions as to how far out to start from please?
It can be more than 90 minutes, I can either watch some prior or after the session.
