Anch'io, surely?

Tomorrow? Looks like another day for the pure sprinters, as long as they can get dragged back after the hills in the first half of the race. Maybe we will see Kaydon Goves, Sam Bennet or Olav Klooj duking it out.

Something tells me Bennet isn't getting over those early lumps in any condition to contest the win... Sorry Sam, I'd love to believe, but...

Tomorrow could well go to a breakaway. Firstly, Lidl-Trek will probably need some help controlling it, but that might not be forthcoming given that Mads is winning pretty much everything. The start is pretty aggressive and then there's a long Cat 2, loads of uncategorized stuff and a long Cat 3 before 60km of flat. It's a long stage as well, longest of the Giro at 227km. Only three riders went in the break today, despite Movistar trying to round up a few more, which tells me they might have been saving legs for stage 6. There could be a load of riders trying to get away and potential for a mega-break.

Some of the DSs are also saying there's a bit of tiredness creeping in, some long transfers etc. Lidl-Trek have been working really hard all this first week, they might not have the power much longer - especially with SKA out.
