As a proud Lancastrian I'd like to agree but I fear the ghosts of the Colle delle Finestre will come back to haunt poor Simon !
Chateau Adams household will be dining on El Paso tacos and putting the black pudding on hold this Giro.
Money on Del Toro has swayed my mind 😁

Is it possible to bet on Simon *not* lurking around the back as they go over Colle delle Finestre this time?

I hope you win the bet, Del is super class but had mega luck so far too. It will run out eventually but if he’s enough in front could make it.

Was it also him who tried to wipe out DVB when throwing his rain jacket to the side?
Stage 14
Damiano Caruso (TBV) gets 500 CHF, -25 UCI pts and a yellow card for disposing an object (clothing) in a dangerous manner (towards another rider)

I don't think it's luck...so far he's been class ! His positioning today showed it again.
Question is has he four big mountain stages in the third week of a grand tour in him or more worrying to me, has he got the full backing of his team.

Just catching up on this now, and saw the result, and the current situ at 15k to go with all the disparate groups.

Would anyone be kind enough please summarise for me how/why there are so many groups - was there a crash, cross winds, errant rampaging goat/dog/lion/yak/emu?

Such a shame that Tiberi lost all that time......

Circuit finish laps 2 ( ISH). crash on first lap on wet brick / cobbles ...race was full on chasing asgreen break at the time

I'd love a wily, mature S Yates to win, just to balance out the collapse of the more youthful S Yates in 2019.

But I don't think it'll happen.

2018. But agree on both counts.

A very long way to go though

Edit- If Yates does win, it’ll be the joint record for years between GT wins (ignoring WW2). He’ll equal Gimondi 1969-1976.
