To be fair, almost everyone picked both pf them. The pricing was weird imo, made finding value in the main categories pretty hard

There's a definite point where the peloton slides into "the GC group" - or as the screen now says "Maglia Rosa Group"

If I was Hindley or Arensman I'd consider an attack over the top of the next climb - Passo Falzarego.
Lot of descent, might be able to shake Gall out

Quite technical too in parts IIRC.
PS - Imo the Falzarego is tougher on the legs than on paper. 😉

Not done the Falzarego from that side, but it's a nice climb from La Vila to the north.
The cable car at the top takes you to the hidden valley which is a astunning ski run, and you get towed out the bottom by horses.
