It's unfortunate if you get taken out, but given the speed of the riders going round the corner, I would have thought with a bit of concentration, they could have stayed up and had a decent finish. Plus it's unlikely that any riders will have been injured.

This is a F**king serious bike ride . Controlling is going to be a tough ask but visma have sat at the back all week (pretty much). Break formation will dictate how this pans out or even effect the rest of the race

There's been comments that a lot of teams are using time trial tyres, which have less grip in wet conditions. Faster but slipper and more puncture prone.
