Who's on German coms?.

Ralf Aldag is the only one I know

Not really., stage and time bonus? ... Wet roads may be tempering pushing it

Exactly; even if the front 4 get to the foot of Blockhaus with a 5 minute gap, only Sevilla will be able to maintain a lead over TVL/Jonas by the time they reach the top and IF Sevilla manages that, it is likely to be only seconds not minutes.

Aldag ..got a few kms on him . Sort of ex pro that fits the coms team role

Main german Eurosport commentator is Karsten Migels, who in his youth was a regional champion on the track and road and also in cross, but never regained his form after a serious crash, so turned to commentating. He has been Eurosport's main german-speaking cycling commentator for about 20 years.

As well as Rolf Aldag (previously team colleague of Jan Ullrich, and for the last dozen years in team management, currently with Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe), the other co-commentator is Robert Bengsch. Between 2000-2010 Bengsch was frequently german champion in many track events (madison, omnium, etc), but his only successes on the road were The Tour of Alsace in 2008 and a couple of stage wins in races of that level.

I think for the remaining two weeks of the Giro, Rolf Aldag will be replaced by Bernie Eisel and/or Jens Voigt.
