I don't think he even needs to worry about winning today's stage. He's such a strong team he could just sit on and generally be near his other GC contenders, unlikely though !

Yeah why would he do anything other than follow then counter over the top to steal a bit of a extra margin .

It feels really cheap tbh. I'm watching at the moment, and it's just chatter. Nothing of any actual value. They talk about the route being brutal, but none of the climbs are that well known. They could have looked at the route. Maybe have one of these talking heads actually ride the bloody things. I'd rather see a Col Collective style video than them talking about nothing for 30 minutes.
