Lets see Wiggo mullah the field in the time trial then go head to head with Chris in the road race, don't care which one wins but it'd be a sight to see:biggrin: then again maybe neither will win, lots more talent out there largely ignored by the media hype generated by their "rivalry".

Froome is not racing in the CWG so I'd say you are not going to see that. ;)

Watch out for Mark Stewart in the track endurance. A great prospect and a really nice bloke, just 18 years old. I spoke to him earlier this year at an event (in which he and a couple of the others in the team beat me by 20 minutes!) and he was hopeful of making the team then so it was great to hear he had made it; he is friends with my daughter and very focused on doing well in front of a home crowd; he has put in some great performances in the Revolution series and has had a good season - just a pity I cannae get tickets to watch him! But his old coach is part of the commissaire team so at least he'll be able to watch him all the way.

I went for a walk around the West End of Glasgow today to see some of the road race circuit. There's a thin strip of cobbles on part of the route:

Mark finished 11/18 in qualifiers so did not progress, but broke the Scottish record, half a second down on Steven Burke (the Olympic gold medallist). :bravo:
