Had a look at the A-Z line-up and there's not as much I want to see as in previous years - Chemical Brothers, Christine & the Queens, Low, The Comet is Coming & Mattiel plus a couple of others if they end up on the BBC catch-up.

None of the "headline" acts are anything I'd pay good money to see.

The Killers were actually Quite good in my opinion.
They brought on the pet shop boys and Johnny marr at the end.
The problem they have is that I’m 43 years old. I shouldn’t be their target audience, everyone on stage other than the frontman was the wrong side of 40.

What a bag of shoot ! Killers and cure that's it . Janet Jackson , please ...... What a pile of kak

The Killlers did a decent show as they always do, typically American, the performance was very professional if lacking in soul.

It's a bit early to slag off The Cure as they haven't played yet.

I'm hoping Kylie will be on the red button this afternoon, worth a watch even with the sound turned down.

Well you would say that, if you only go by what you see on the telly.

Some folks may or may not like the headline acts.

But for most people who go, the joy is in all the other many many smaller stages with slightly less well known acts.
Oh and the comedy, and the art, and and and.

I haven't been to Glasto for over twenty years . It's much too big for me nowadays.

But my son is there right now..

I like smaller festivals such as Green Man near Brecon, the line up this year is as quality as ever.

Which side is the wrong side of forty?? .
Your musical tastes don't have to stop evolving, unless you choose to let them.

I am not knocking Glastonbury because some it looks like it could be an amazing experience, but it all seems a bit too commercialised, with some of the acts not festival material IMO.
All the festivals I ever attended (its a long time ago) were all about "sex and drugs and rock and roll" probably very non PC nowadays.
