Go pro 5mp

Someone local is selling one for 50 quid,are they any good for cycling purposes ?or are there newer models better,thanks in advance

I use a Go Pro 4. In its waterproof case it fastens nicely to the supplied handlebar clamp and works rather well. A few of my posts on Your Ride Today have links to my efforts.
I think the software needs a bit of work, but that might just be me.

Is 5mp the correct name of the model of the camera in question? Go pro do various models and I`ve not heard of one that is simply called the 5mp.

The camera at the bottom of the page in this link shows a picture of a Go pro 5 megga pixel camera on a bike, and the model is called HERO. It is £109.99 Obviously comes with the usual guarantee. If the one you are referring to is the same model, I would say £20 tops and you`re still taking a gamble with a sensitive electronic item that can be easily damaged.

There are always better\newer models. That one is good value for £50 if it's in good condition. They are £100 new.
