i think i'd be looking for a cheap caravan/motorhome rather than a tent. still do the bike thing but at least you would have a toilet/kitchen area/couch/etc ...and you can lock the thing

Jonathan, I agree, rang crystal plce crvan club and they said I would have to camp day by day basis depending on the weather, if bad I would have to leave. They do seem to be reserved or luck of experience with tents, camping is fine in Southern England with right tent and kit.

Virtual DBP, agree about caravan, this may be a one off hence tent, If I do regular then would go with a caravan in winter.
