There was an Avenger Tiger which had a reasonably perky 1,600cc engine.

About 100bhp, 0-60 in under 10 secs - fairly rapid for a 1973 family car.

It's not so much the image , which was crass and of its time, that I find offensive, it's more the glib way stuff like that has started to appear. It gets a bit more like Bike Radar in here every day .

It was mostly the 70s up to 1976 or 77 which were the 'naff' ones in terms of style etc. The late 70s, with punk etc, got a lot edgier and imho cooler (not temperatures).
