I liked the bullhorns too, it just wasn't the right bike for me, a touch heavy and the black was a no-no. Happy with the Pearson, although it ended up costing £400 odd as I needed some new forks to get the handlebars high enough for my crocked body and cross levers for confidence braking in traffic!Must admit @vickster i do like the look of the bullhorns. @Cycleops I'm not very good with a spanner to build my own but must say buying a vintage one that has already been done hadn't crossed my mind and the one in the link looks very nice.
I'm taking the current Mrs Paul139 out to look at a bike tomorrow at a different shop but might try and take another look at the one in Evans while we're out and maybe give it a test ride.
Current! How many have you had!?Must admit @Cycleops I'm not very good with a spanner to build my own but must say buying a vintage one that has already been done hadn't crossed my mind and the one in the link looks very nice.
