Some aventinus eisbock. It's a wheat beer which has been put through an ice cream maker which is nicer than it might sound.

No. The last beer I drank at home was a gift that had lain in the bottom of my kitchen cupboard for 18 months! However there is an ample selection for hogmanay in the spirits locker.

St John Smiths, recycled urine aka lager for the heathen guests half a dozen wines and a bottle of whisky and another of Vodka.

No Euro-piss lager in this house, only proper beer. Several bottles of Copper Dragon's superb Golden Pippin are all I shall be needing.

Lomond Gold. It's brewed near Stirling, about 30 miles east of Loch Lomond but I don't care. It's lovely.
