I watched the mailman go by my house, opened the mailbox, saw a package in it, carried it into the house, opened it up and got a surprise. I got my 1940 era SIMPLEX Tour de France rear derailleur. I'm saving it for when I either find or build my own French Tour de France bike, and I will learn to put it on, adjust it and use it. I never dreamed and thought I would buy and get my own piece of derailleur history with the old, old, old, old Tour de France derailleur. Now I got one and I'm very very happy.

Does anyone know if my Simplex Tour de France rear derailleur will work with my 80's Fuji S12-S LTD? If not, I'll have to look for or build a French road bike that will work with it.
