I don't feel sorry for them , Porsche obviously had the better car for it to complete the race :wahhey: I agree they are as ugly as sin nowadays,i remember watching them at Silverstone in 85 running Porsche 962's in Rothmans livery, now that was a classic shape and livery !

Good result.

Pretty versatile lot our Olympic cyclists, Rebecca Romero winning silver and gold in rowing and cycling respectively. Hoy racing at LeMans and Vicky P becoming a decent jump jockey.

The Likely Lads reference was to the episode where they try to get through the day without hearing the result
Hasn't that been done on every sitcom ever? Certainly seen it on Scrubs.

I doubt it was first done on the Likely Lads, it's just the first time you saw it.

(I don't think The Honeymooners had a tv, and can't imagine Ricky or Lucy caring about sports results; that's about the end of my knowledge of early sitcoms)
Oh great, thanks very much for that. I have recorded it on Sky and I was going to watch it on Boxing Day as a post Christmas treat, now you have ruined it. There is no mention of a 'Hoy result spoiler' in the title
Boxing Day is after Christmas Day? You bastard, I was looking forward to a surprise when Boxing Day arrived and now you've ruined it. Thanks for nothing :cursing:

Hmm LMP class isn't a beauty competition and has always been questionable but the GT3 RSRs have always been amazeballs.

“Car #5 suffered a technical defect on a connector on the air line between the turbo charger and the intercooler, causing a loss of turbo charger control. The team attempted to modify the control settings to restore power and this was eventually achieved, allowing the car to complete the final lap. However, it was achieved too late to complete that lap within the required six minutes."
