It seems to be a standing joke that only old gits with beards and sandals ride Bents. No so....

Henry has decided that he would like to learn at the tender age of 16 months

Very sweet ... serious question ... what would be the youngest age a child could ride a recumbent? I suppose some go quite small ....

I'm sure there would be no difference to age from riding an upright bike or trike.

I've seen photos of a home made conversion of a toddler's bike into a recumbent and there is at least one company I've seen in a Velovision magazine that makes recumbent bikes for possibly 10 year old size.

Arch would know, I think it was her photo of the home made one.

Ahh, found it.
Here on the first SPEZI video at 3.10.

Also Altena Bikes for child sized recumbents.
