GPS cycle computer for navigation - recommendations?

Been advised on a Wahoo Facebook group the Bolt v2 and Roam v2 both fixed the confuision of the v1s
Both have 64-color screens where radar vehicles are displayed in a dedicated colored sidebar on the screen itself (amber/red), while off-route alerts show up as a separate top-screen banner. The Roam v2 also adds a second side LED strip to keep radar and navigation visuals completely separate.

I checked my Roam V2 on yesterday's ride. I switched off the left side LEDs. I was on a long ride and wanted to conserve battery. I left the top bar on as the Varia is important to me.

Green LED flashes once when the side bar changes back to green

Side bar amber/orange, the LED is the same
Side bar red, the LED is the same but quite dull in colour

So it signals various things. to you by using red and green coloured LEDs? Hmmm. I wouldn't be able to use that.

The user has a choice LEDs, a side bar or both. The LEDs for me are green, amber and orange as is the side bar. There are audible alerts but I've never used them.

By the sound of it your red/green colour blind?

Red green mainly (but others too). I'm OK ish with blocks of colour but LEDs are a no no. But if I had one I might learn to use the positions of the lights. It's a pretty big design failure when you consider that the majority of users will be male and roughly 8% of men have colour vision problems.
