Great one-liners from the movies

Seem to remember we had a thread on this awhile back, but I was set thinking about it after watching The Last Samurai on telly last night. Billy Connolly plays a sort of Regimental Sergeant Major (with some kind of weird Irish/Scottish accent) and just as the battle's about to start he's ordered to the rear, to which he responds: "No disrespect intended, Sir, but stick it up your arse."

The Big Lebowski

I love the Big Lebowski - in my top 10 best films ever.

I love the bit where Walter is talking about Lenin, but Donny thinks he's talking about Lennon!

The "blessed are the cheese-makers" line from Life of Brian.

Or the whole exchange with the Roman Guards and the Emperor, still makes me laugh all these years on.

The Duke has a great line in that film's predecessor too, after one of the four hoodlums says that's 'pretty fancy talk coming from a one eyed fat man': "Fill yer hands you sonuvabitch!"

1.
Princess Leia: "I love you"
Han Solo: "I know"

For some reason my wife doesn't see the funny side when I try that line

2.
"I am Brian and so if my wife"

3. (not from a film and not really a one liner, Derek and Clive at the end of the coughing competition)
"for those of you who are hard of hearing......LISTEN"
