I haven't heard it for years. It wasn't something that ever got a lot of airplay.

However, you've brought back memories of many nights listening to Tubular Bells in a darkened room, so thank you for that.

I remember being quite shocked by how 'Rock' it was and it being the first song I remember with vocals being put through a 'Synth'. I was a bit young to appreciate 'Tubular Bells' (though I like it now) At the time I was into SAHB, Nazereth, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Quo and Rush amongst others though I had mates into Floyd, Tangerine Dream, Hawkwind and Mike Oldfield etc. I'd come from liking Rock and Roll to a Ska fan in the early 70's so Tubular Bells was a bit too cerebral for me.
