All cycle lanes should be removed anyway.
Would rather be part of the normal traffic flow not shoved to the side on a silly bit of coloured tarmac with crappy drains and rubbish.

Blocking a bus stop, not your average choice of vehicle

Here you go - and this is usually taken at 25-30 mph having come down the 1 mile hill from Hooley. Not enjoyable - certainly when you have to avoid being doored on the way through...

I am so sorry you have to experience that kind of human ignorance and laziness on your cycle rides.

I believed it was bad when the odd residential car or two was blocking a small area of a cycle lane... never again will I complain, as it is nothing when compared to your example.

Kudos to you.

Oh my! That trumps Waterloo Bridge. Is there a nearby train station?

Yes, just round the corner (near the pub the other end of the bridge) - why the council have put in a cycle lane AND left it as allowed parking is beyond me. I'm sure there's quite a few CC members who cycle through there regularly.

Probably helps the council score some better "cycle friendly" stats or something

If you want bad parking, may I commend this somewhat sweary site to you?
I can't say I approve of the language, but it is full of people who park like absolute idiots.

sweet mother of god, that's got me fair rankled... numpties

especially the idiot from mansfield moaning about his ticket , after he had parked partly into a marked off disabled bay...

You could always stock up with these, although poor Michael might get through a few books.

Some of the parking that goes on at the gym I go to in Stirling has to be seen to be believed. People park on the pavement, at dropped kerbs, work vans in disabled bays, cars in motorbike bays, parked on corners, left in the middle of the road ... all whilst there are parking spaces a couple of minutes walk away. The lazy, inconsiderate sods can't be arsed with a two minute walk to the f'n gym for f**k's sake.

I would of course say something, but some of them are big buggers

I was going to recommend that site too. Some shockers on there!

If you want bad parking, go to Nice in France. I went in July and on every crossroads there were cars parked on every corner. French Police could make a killing if they weren't so lazy.
