Royal Canin dog food is £80 for a 12kg bag. It used to be £30 until a few years then the pride shot up like Prince Andrew's blood pressure in a knocking shop. And that's a VAT free price as its a working dog food.

Harrington's dog food, Bruce's favourite, is as far as I can tell almost identical in terms of ingredients, yet 15kg is around £33.

How on earth is a £47 difference justifiable?

Garmin sports watches too. The latest crop have topped £1,100.(£1,700 plus if you want micro led!)

My Instinct 1 cost £130 in a sale a few years ago. Does everything I need (and more) and is very reliable.

Plus, if it gets bashed I won't cry.

Had my fair share of Omega, Rolex, Breitling over the years and fretting about them getting scratched, etc.

I would not take a £1k plus Garmin up on a rocky mountain Crag...

Even AirBnB prices have become absurd and we used to use them a lot.

Last one for two of us was £980 for the week. A few years ago the same property went for £440.

I like proper British made Turkish Delight. I can't say the same about that covered in white powder and smelling of flowers muck they make and sell in shoot holes like Turkey! 🧐

Its not all bad news.

A Pipercross induction kit for my van is £200 from Pipercross, yet a Leighton Vans branded Pipercross kit is £120. Guess which one I bought?

(Before anyone accuses me off being a boy racer its a popular mod as it raises the otherwise stupidly low air intake and reduces the chances of hydrolocking if hitting a deep puddle.)
