I told him to follow my path I’m picking out & not ride in the gutter where it’s worse. Then he said he was to the right of me so he should have followed the wheel or seen the hole if on the right of me. Complete plonker.

If you've gave him a clear message/ warning its completely on him. Folk have said to me in the past, 'follow my wheel' in similar circumstances but I've ridden to the side and further back to have better visibility. I've never hit a bad pothole in that situation 🤞 but if I had I couldn't blame the person who had gave me a warning :-/

Some twunt riding behind you too busy talking to another member to concentrate on the road. And then have the gall to call someone at the front for not informing him of a pothole!

If he spent some time on the front instead of being a wheelsucker then he could see the potholes himself. Honestly, do twunts like him really exist in clubs?

I’ve ridden with some great veterans & ex pros. Times pot holes not pointed & I’ve hit them but that’s my fault. I’d never dream of blaming people in front. His comments about expensive bike/wheels he should stop throwing money at rip off kit & actually build some VO2 max. I can’t do with Twunts who try to buy speed & look like a pro but are unfit posers.

Ive never been blamed for a pothole but I've had folk with their adrenalin up and stressed in a fast group, upset at me when something goes wrong (the heat of the moment). But I've been accepting/ diffusing of rant, as I know they are not Twunts. Sure enough, shortly later when they've calmed down I get an apology from them. If the bloke once they've calmed down (al be it it might not be for a few days) doesn't apologise they are a twunt!
