If it has no front suspension then it would make a great trekking/touring bike.

yes a gt outpost circa 1996 i reckon just needs a service and a clean

afraid no prize

Managed to get some air in the tyres and a better once over.

Looks like rear wheel bearing adjustment and as previously mentioned a good service and we should be ready to go.

Nice! I really like those old GT frames, would like to get hold of one myself when I've got more room in the garage.

My first real mountain bike was one of those in red in the early 1990's. Really good fun to ride with really bad brakes that meant with the brakes hard on you would accelerate down steep hills. Not so good on rocky steep downhills.

Lets you get on with proper mountain biking unlike the estate agents called nigel, Gerald and dante on their fs enduro bikes.

This is doing some commuting miles this week.

All new gear cabling , bottom bracket unit re greased hubs and headset .

Just need the brakes pulling up a bit more.

Tyres inflated to 65 psi and what a difference a bit less tyre howl and a slightly harsher ride but nicer to ride

Just need that Kuwahara now
