Mancunian in self imposed exile in leafy Cheshire
I met him a couple of times when he was playing in Manchester. He to be fair was a very nice unassuming guy. He has an ambitious wife and a good pr team. Maybe he should be thanked for being seen with a bike rather than a 4x4 like most footballers.

You just wait........next week will sporn a tirade of @rselicking journos spewing syrupy-sweet, bum kissing articles about him and the bike.

Mark my words.

Side note; I doubt he bought it, more than likel given to him - like he can't afford a new bike?

Why would he of been given the bike? if anything he'd of been overcharged because he has the immense amount of money.

Frame way too big, and no brakes....that will be fun with his kids cycling in-front..... oh and flip flops on a fixed is a recipe for disaster.............

At the end of the day, if he is cycling and encouraging his kids to cycle, that ain't no bad thing. And LA is a brilliant city for cycling too.

If you're pootling along at 5mph or so with the kids it would be controllable.

To be honest good luck to him, as to anyone on a bike. Hopefully he will enjoy it.

I think I personally would like a brake on the front but that's just me.

Some of you people take things far to seriously, he went out on a bike with his kids, the very newspaper some are complaining about publish these non-stories entirely because they get you mugs talking and moaning!
