I was a bit naffed off with
Leisure lakes Bury. Bought 2 mountain bikes last year. Total price £1,500. (muppet wants entry level amateur mountain bikes, they'll do yer mate type of attitude) Their bumph said spend over £700 and get 12 months int free. They said they will only give me 6 months because the bikes were previous year's model and had been reduced so 12 months int free doesn't apply. Secondly the car park said the £1 fee was refundable and the manager said that that is only for Iceland customers and not LL customers. (hang on. I've just spent £1500 in your shop and you'd rather argue the toss over a quid than just hand it over ?!!). Went back to pick the bikes up but had to wait ages to be dealt with because the wall being emulsioned by the manager was more important to deal with than a customer. Altogether pretty shoddy IMO.
Rant over but wont be going back.
