I was walking to the station a while ago and as I crossed a road at a traffic light controlled junction, I became aware the the crossing traffic that ought to be moving, wasn't. There was a hoot, and then another and another, but the lead car at the green light didn't move.

I spotted that the driver was deeply immersed in a conversation on his phone. So I stepped out into the road, paused for effect, rapped hard on the passenger window, and shouted "get off the phone!", pointing at the green light.

As he pulled away, embarrassed, I indicated to the following car with a mime that he'd been on the phone, and got a wave of appreciation. And a lady standing nearby on the pavement selling tickets to the Big Wheel said "Well done!"

If was only as I walked away, I got the pain in my knuckles from rapping so hard on the window!

Its a shame that Wales has kept some of its ethnicity over the years. The Welsh language still seems to be big, even in North Wales which is full of people from Manchester and Liverpool.
When I move to England I might become a PCSO. Who knows?

1) don't be a cock
2) the border isn't too far from Prestatyn ( incidentally the Welsh word for sex ;) )

Double standards here Matthew, You seen hell bent on retaining your own 'ethnicity' while wanting to deny Welsh natives the right to their own. Why should they accomodate your wished when you won't accommodate theirs?

When you move to England I'm sure Wales will mourn your loss. :wahhey:

It's the privilege of Youth to be outraged about things. My son aged 14 is entering a phase of his life where he's beginning to see the unfairness and inequality around him and to complain about it.

Be sorry that you've become so complacent that you don't bother any more!

I took the bus to college today and on my way home, I was going to meet my dad from the bus station. I was walking against the one way system when a white Mercedes passes me with the driver on the phone. I pointed at him and sternly said "Off the phone" as driving whilst on the phone is one of my pet hates with people.
.

If you behave like that to random people, you WILL be attacked.

Look up the difference between assertive and aggressive behaviour.

There is a reason for that. I suggest you read a bit about Welsh History. Particularly with regard to the slate mines or the suppression of Welsh.

I'm sure some people would be willing to arrange a send off party.

You come across as a very ignorant, arrogant and immature person. I think I may well subscribe to your post because I'll enjoy all the 'Told you so's' if when you eventually bite off more than you can chew and someone give you a clip. You may then give up your urban warrior camera wearing crusade and grow up a little.

That's a bit OTT isn't it? I agree that it's probably not the wisest approach to life, to be constantly looking to put the world to rights, and that like as not it'll end up in tears, but I don't see anything inherently wrong in people ticking others off for selfish, potentially life-threatening behaviour. I don't think it's wise, but I don't think it's wrong.

Are you really saying that wisdom and maturity is all about turning a blind eye? Where do you draw the line? I personally tend to avoid confrontation - not least out of rank cowardice - but I generally applaud rather than denigrate people willing to 'take one for the team', at their own personal risk, in an attempt to nudge people back in the direction of maintaining the basic norms of a civilised society.
