Been there for the 24hr motor bike race. It's a fantastic circuit and most of the structures are still there. The Mulsanne straight isn't used in the shorter Bugatti circuit the bike race.

It isn't much different today on the scenic front. The laissez faire attitude has long gone though.

On BT Sport the other night was a film about Mike Hailwood, complete with lots of paddock shots of him back in his early motor cycle racing days. Back when filling up the bike's petrol tank from a jerry can, whilst smoking a Woodbine, was still de rigeur....... happy days!
