Had a bit of a oops moment tonight

Have to say Im surprised.

Im not surprised that ... You lost your pads
Im not surprised that ... You went over a wall
Im not surprised that ... You landed in a garden when the owners were there.

But I am surprised that a bike was left on the floor for seconds without a scrap van coming along and taking it. There's a roving fleet in Walsall that never seem to stop!

its Walsall. it was a Saturday night. they were clearly off down weatherspoons or the gunners too busy getting pissed to be out scrapping that time of night.

brakes were fine when I did my morning checks, they were working up until that point. no idea why they came off. it happened. end of.

Got it. A check-up as suggested by others might be the right thing.

Frame around head tube (downtube, top tube) might be a bit crumpled too?

will be giving the bike a check over later to assess the damage... doubtfull itll get used again though

I think what happened is that your bike got offended at you thinking it a bso and threw you off.
